The contest is focused around five big social issues: aids,
environmental damage, human rights violation, underdevelopment and war. All the finalists posters will be gathered
in an exhibition. The same artwork will be also collated in a catalogue.
The aim of the contest is to raise public awareness particularly amongst people inside
the communication industry, and the relevance and importance of social communication.

Upon receiving his masters degree in motion graphics/ broadcast design at the Savannah College of Art & Design, Matt packed up and moved to New York City to join Curious Pictures in June 2006. His undergrad degree is in fine art with a focus on painting and printmaking. He draws inspiration from ambiguous environments, found objects, and the notion that the human mind is driven by sleep and circumstance.
